Rowayton Arts Center NEW Online Drawing Class for Children July 8 through August 12

 

 

 

The Rowayton Arts Center (RAC) is offering a new online class, “Mastering Drawing Skills,” for children aged ten to fourteen via Zoom on Wednesdays from 2 to 3 pm beginning July 8, 2020. Participants will explore contour, line, tone, shading, light, texture, composition, anatomy and spatial depth.  Various materials including watercolor, inks and graphite will be explored. 

This class is appropriate for any student looking to refine their drawing skills regardless of experience. The instructor Karen Siegel is a visual artist and educator. She teaches at Silvermine Arts Center, Brookfield Craft Center, Wainwright House, the Weston Library and throughout Connecticut. Karen has exhibited her work at the Carriage Arts Barn, Silvermine Art Gallery and the Wooster Gallery.
