Art Annex CT Presents Ronnie Gold Solo Show “Color Burst: Pastels and Paintings” in Rowayton

A new exhibition, “Color Burst: Pastels and Paintings,” will be on view October 22, 2020 through November 20, 2020 at 112 Rowayton Avenue, Rowayton, Connecticut. Presented by Art Annex CT, this is the first solo show for Stamford artist Ronnie Gold.

Ronnie paints in pastel, acrylic and water-based oil. Her work is primarily non-objective and abstract, although nature is often a point of departure as well as inspiration for her work. Color becomes the central force as Ronnie works through a painting with the play of mark making and gestural lines adding texture to the surface. She is also passionate about the medium of pastel as it allows her to work intuitively and spontaneously.

Ronnie earned a BFA from University of Colorado and attended Tyler School of Art in Rome, Italy. She is a member of the Rowayton Arts Center, Silvermine Guild of Artists, Greenwich Art Society and the Connecticut Pastel Society.  After a career as a textile designer and co-owner of Home Accent Fabrics, a decorative fabric company, she is now devoting herself to her art.

Ronnie says, “I now have entered a new chapter in my life; painting full time and I love it!” Learn more about Ronnie at ronniegold.com.

Gallery hours are Tuesday through Friday from 12 pm to 5 pm, Saturday and Sunday from 10 am to 1 pm or by appointment. (Please call Ronnie Gold at 914-255-2685 to schedule.)

Art Annex CT was formed in 2020 by Andrea Letters and Jane Jansen Seymour to assist local artists with solo shows. For more information, email artannex@gmail.com, visit artannexct.com and follow @artannexct.com.
