Norwalk Oyster Festival Friday, September through Sunday September 10 at Veterans Memorial Park

Get ready, Norwalk! The Oyster Festival is back! Starting, Friday, September 8th, come and join the fun for three days of food, incredible live music, carnival rides, and family-friendly entertainment!

The 45th annual Oyster Festival will be hosted by the Norwalk Seaport Association from Friday, September 8th until Sunday, September 10th, at Veterans Memorial Park.

The lineup of amazing live performances includes bands like Mullett, Gary LeVox of the Rascal Flatts, and the legendary East Coast Rock ‘n’ Roll group, John Cafferty and the Beaver Brown Band!

What’s new this year? The WOW Water Circus will be in attendance with aerialists and acrobats to perform extraordinary water tricks, all while flying over a big 35,000-gallon pool! Also in attendance will be the Canines in the Clouds, a group of talented and trained show dogs who will be performing gravity-defying stunts!

This year, there will also be a tour of the 129-foot Amistad Schooner of Discovering Amistad. This fascinating tour highlights the history of slavery and the Amistad Uprising, which took place in 1839. The Amistad Freedom Schooner is a 129-foot recreation of the historic ship, La Amistad.
