On Thursday June 25th, Bogey’s Grille & Tap Room celebrated it’s ribbon cutting ceremony lead by Mayor Harry W. Rilling and the restaurant owners, John and Jim Stablein and Kevin Rusch.
The Greater Norwalk Hispanic Chamber of Commerce held a speed networking event (at the former Ash Creek Saloon) location as well that evening.
Bogey’s Grille and Tap Room moved from operating for 17 years in Westport (Hurricane Irene flooded the popular restaurant) to its Norwalk location at 2 Wilton Avenue (next door to Cablevision) and has an All Day New American menu.
There are soups, sandwiches, salads, steaks, seafood and pasta offerings. The interior is an early American, Scotland and Ireland golf motif in the dining room and vintage photographs of pub storefronts in the Tap Room.
An oval bar adorns the center of the room and tables in sunny nooks around the perimeter, which was a natural fit for the Hispanic Chamber to host a membership drive/speed networking event.
We want to thank Mayor Rilling and his wife Lucia for celebrating with us.” Since moving to the new location, Bogey’s has been busy not only in the restaurant, but with corporate catering and delivery as well. “It’s like having two businesses under one roof and we are so happy to be here”, Stablein said.
