Local Marketing Company Offers Gratis Guidance for Local Nonprofits #GivingTuesdayNow

Co-Communications Offers Gratis Marketing Guidance to Nonprofits for #GivingTuesdayNow, May 5, 2020

Co-Communications will offer complimentary PR and marketing guidance to New York- and Connecticut-based nonprofits to coincide with #GivingTuesdayNow, a one-day worldwide effort on May 5 for pandemic relief. The special day was created by Giving Tuesday, the global generosity movement.

“Our nonprofits are so vital to our community, economy and future,” said Stacey Cohen, president and CEO of Co-Communications Inc., an award-winning agency with offices in New York City, Westchester County and Connecticut. “We thought about the best way we could help during this crisis and decided to share our greatest strength – our marketing expertise.”

Clear communication is paramount for businesses and organizations at every stage of development, but even more so during a crisis. The pandemic has posed particular challenges for nonprofits with spring fundraisers cancelled and resources dwindling – making effective communications more important than ever.

Jessica Lyon, COO, Co-Communications Inc., added: “While there are many great marketing webinars available, they are all generic. With this effort, we want to provide nonprofits time with an expert to help address their individual needs and concerns.”

Co-Communications leadership team will be scheduling 30-minute consultations May 5, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. to answer questions about PR and marketing best practices during the pandemic, key messaging points, virtual events, social media tips, and more.
