Norwalk Travel Alert
Due to infrastructure upgrades, the City of Norwalk will be temporarily closing Wall Street at East Wall Street to Eastbound traffic between Main Street and Brook Street.
The estimated duration of work will take place:
Tuesday, 3/7/23, from 7 AM - 7 PM;
Wednesday, 3/8/23, from 7 AM - 12 PM; and
Thursday, 3/9/23, from 7 AM - 3:30 PM.
All vehicular traffic traveling east on Wall Street will be detoured to Main Street & Cross Street. Westbound Wall Street/East Wall Street will remain open to vehicular traffic throughout the project. High Street and Knight Street will be limited to local traffic only. The sidewalks will remain open to pedestrians.
Please see the attached detour plan for further clarification. Parking will also be unavailable on the Eastbound Lane of Wall Street between Main Street and East Wall Street during these dates and times.
