Connecticut - The State of Connecticut mandates that businesses with 5 or more employees offer a qualified retirement savings program for their employees.
More than 600,000 private-sector workers do not have access to a retirement savings plan through their employer. MyCTSavings, offered through the Office of the State Comptroller, is working to change that, by offering a retirement plan at no cost to businesses, with the convenience of automatic payroll deductions for employees.
The deadline for employers to sign up for the program is March 30, 2023.
