Good Food at b.good Fairfield

We've all been there. Your group tries to pick a restaurant for an outing, but Jane is allergic to dairy, Bob is vegan, and Sam only eats locally grown produce. Finding a place to please all palates doesn't have to be a challenge, at least when you're in Fairfield, and visit bgood.com.

Located right across from the green on 1460 Post Road, b.good offers great options for all dietary needs, and the ingredients are sourced from all New England farms.

On the menu are a variety of soups, salads, burgers, sandwiches, kale and grain bowls, and kid-friendly items inspired by the seasons and is dictated by the local harvests.

Fresh squeezed juices, cold brew coffee, smoothies, and shakes make up the drink list, as well as a well-rounded beer list comprised of mostly Connecticut breweries, and a selection of wines as well.

When I attended the media dinner last week, we tasted many popular menu items, and the standouts for me were the veggie burger (the best I've tasted!), the incredibly juicy turkey burger, the roasted butternut salad, the spicy avocado and lime bowl, and the current menu special celebrating Fairfield University's anniversary, a bacon and egg topped beef burger.

We also got to sample an amazingly delicious non-dairy shake made with Valrhona chocolate and coconut that will debut this week (March 22nd).

The atmosphere is best described as casual comfort, and the husband and wife team/local residents, Molli and Stephen Hourihan add to the overall coziness of the space, and community-centric vibe.

Whether you're looking for a quick and healthy lunch spot, or a great place to grab a beer and burger after work, make sure you get some good food at b.good.
