
The Lockwood-Mathews Mansion Museum is pleased to announce that Kathleen Olsen has joined the Board of Trustees.
Douglas E. Hempstead, LMMM Chairman of the Board of Trustees said, “We are very excited to have Kathleen Olsen join the Board of Trustees and share her knowledge and expertise in the oversight of the Museum. I am sure she will play a crucial role in enhancing our institution.”
Ms. Olsen has over 25 years of experience in accounting and finance and currently serves as a Director of Green Brick Partners, Inc. (NYSE: GRBK), a diversified homebuilding and land development company. From 1999 through 2011, Ms. Olsen served as Chief Financial Officer of Eminence Capital, LP, a long/short global equity fund. From 1993 to 1999, Ms. Olsen served as audit manager, specializing in investment partnerships at Anchin, Block & Anchin LLP, a public accounting firm located in New York City. Ms. Olsen received a Bachelor of Science degree with honors from the State University of New York at Albany and is a Certified Public Accountant. In addition, Ms. Olsen is currently an adjunct professor at Fordham University.
Ms. Olsen is active in her community and her philanthropic endeavors include the Yale Eye Center Advisory Board and Saint Catherine Center for Special Needs. Ms. Olsen enjoys active traveling and has visited 68 countries. In addition, she enjoys running and walking her dog Lip.
