Why did you start your business?

Aitoro Appliance was founded in 1948 when Anthony Aitoro and his three sons (Vincent, Rudy, and Carmine) were let go from a hat factory. They decided to band together and open a family business - a Variety Store on Ely Avenue in South Norwalk. Fast Forward 71 years and Aitoro still offers the most in-demand brand names in appliances to customers of all tastes and budgets.

Best selling product or service?

Along with delivering the widest selection of home products, Aitoro has built a sterling reputation on its dedication to offering the very best in customer service. The business moved to Westport Avenue in Norwalk in 1963 to accommodate the businesses steady growth. Aitoro prides itself on being consistently recognized for housing some of the country's most beautiful, fully functioning kitchen displays and treating customers like family.

How many people do you employ?

Aitoro Appliance employs more than 40 employees whom of whom have worked at the company for more than 40 years!
