Why Small Businesses Matter
Shop small, do big things for your community
Why Small Businesses Matter puts a spotlight on the local merchants who donate their time, talent, goods, and services for the betterment of our community. The shop local movement spreads virally as local businesses who are “tagged” have the opportunity to share their story!

Tell me about Charter My Sea Ray.
We are a Norwalk, CT based private charter company that offers Long Island Sound’s most unique and intimate private yacht charter service. We can provide a catered breakfast, lunch, or dinner charter perfect for family or corporate functions. Whether you are looking for a sunset cruise, want to see a Met game at Citifield, have tickets to the U.S. Open, or want to spend time with that special someone, we can provide an experience of a lifetime. Reserve your charter and we will ensure your time with us is special.
What is your best selling product/service?
We offer several cruise options but our all-inclusive 2-hour fun-cruise is our most popular. It is a scenic tour of Norwalk Harbor with an up-close look at the Sheffield and Greensledge Lighthouses as well as Tavern Island and a trip up and down the Five Mile River with views of the beautiful boats and homes along the shoreline.
I promote Shop LOCAL! We work with several local small businesses including Rex Marine or West Marine, local caterers such as Clyde Ripka of Ripka’s Beach Cafe, Norwalk Cove Marina for fuel and supplies and so many more! I also utilize the services of Rex Marine as my homeport and their services for maintenance and repairs and supplies.
