Four questions with Carolina M. Osorio, founder of CP Servicios Latinos.
Why did you start your business?
I started CP Servicios Latinos in 2016 (unofficially) and then in 2020, I made it official due to my experience of more than 17 years in working with the Latino community in the areas of Social Work, Community Outreach, and Legal Work. I have a strong background in these areas and I have served the Latino community in the Stamford-Norwalk area as well as have presided over these committees. I am passionate about informing and empowering the Latino community, as well as providing direct services that will better their lives.
What is your best-selling product/service?
I provide services in Translations (Spanish/English) and preparation of all sorts of documents, including statements, affidavits, resumes, and legal documents, and I also do thorough assessments and preparations of applications for Judicial, Federal, and State benefits and processes. I am also a Notary Public for the State of Connecticut.
I offer services to many individuals and businesses in the community, but I have a strict confidentiality policy due to the nature of the services that I provide.
Have you "reimagined" your small business?
The way that I have "reimagined" my business is by providing services to individuals in the Latino community throughout the United States, as this has become possible through the use of available technology. My priority is to be able to share my knowledge and experience of over 17 years with members of our Latino community and to prepare and empower them.
