You're IT Jillin’ It: Events, Matchmaking + More!

Three questions with Jill Dunn, founder of Jillin’ It: Events, Matchmaking + More.

Why did you start your business?

I founded Jillin' It with a simple mission: to bring people together. After my divorce in 2016, I began searching for events that would connect me to other local singles. When I was unable to find any I put my events background to work and started to plan and host regular speed dating and singles mixer events, connecting local singles in fun and thoughtfully planned events.

The Matchmaking and pre-dating services were a natural addition to the events as it helps to connect singles that are unable to make it to events or singles that happened to be at different events.

What is your best-selling product/service?

My singles events are very popular and well attended and I have those usually once or twice a month in and around Fairfield County. I really put my heart into making sure everyone feels safe, comfortable, and connected. Matchmaking is a close second!

How many local businesses do you use to support your business (products and services) and can you name them?

I work with many local businesses to host my events. I love to bring awareness to the new and exciting places that our area has to offer. I have hosted events at so many great locations including Knot Norms, The Spread, El Segundo, SoNo 1420, 314 Beer Garden, Dockside Brewery, BJ Ryans, BanC House, Evaritos, LobsterCraft, Pinstripes, Washington Prime, and Wood + Grit.

Jill would like to nominate Thea at Salon Etre to be featured next!
