Why Small Businesses Matter

Shop small, do big things for your community

Why Small Businesses Matter puts a spotlight on the local merchants who donate their time, talent, goods, and services for the betterment of our community. The shop local movement spreads virally as local businesses who are “tagged” have the opportunity to share their story!

You're IT Masonry Solutions!

Three questions with Claudio Diiorio, founder of Masonry Solutions.

Tell me about how your business started

Claudio went to trade school right after high school. He is a first-generation Italian American and his relatives from Italy all do stonework. Masonry is something that has always been a part of his life. He loves helping people and donates wherever and however he can.

What is your best-selling product/service?

The most common things we do are patios, walkways, and chimneys. The most fun things we do are large outdoor stone scapes that incorporate appliances, lighting, and landscaping- sometimes even outdoor fireplaces!
