Why Small Businesses Matter
Shop small, do big things for your community
Why Small Businesses Matter puts a spotlight on the local merchants who donate their time, talent, goods, and services for the betterment of our community. The shop local movement spreads virally as local businesses who are “tagged” have the opportunity to share their story!
You're IT Coconino Consulting!
Four questions with Nora Anna, founder of Coconino Consulting.
Why did you start your business?
Many small businesses are underserved by Back Office Professionals in our communities. We wanted to make a difference and started Coconino Consulting in 1999 - a business management company designed specifically to assist small businesses with their day-to-day needs.
What is your best-selling product/service?
Back Office Support including Management and Coordination of Accounting, Bookkeeping, Real Estate, Insurance, Human Resource Issues, etc.
How many local businesses do you use to support your business (products and services) and can you name them?
We network with several local law firms, accounting firms, insurance firms, and other resources local and national to help support our clients. Seperack & Co is one of our many accounting resources. Daigle & Travers is extremely helpful for business insurance issues. John Wygal & Co is our go-to insurance firm for health insurance and business insurance. Law Offices of Nathaniel W. Shipp is extremely friendly to small businesses.
Have you reimagined your small business?
Since Covid, we have all done things differently now. Coconino Consulting evolved to help local small businesses with their changing needs and new challenges.
Nora would like to nominate Los Portales on South Main Street in Norwalk to be featured next - "I have worked with this family for over 20 years. The Catrina Cantina Tequila Bar was built by hand by the owner. The food is the best authentic Mexican food you will ever have. It is a real family business success story!"
HamletHub thanks Fairfield County Bank for making our Why Small Businesses Matter series possible!
