Three questions with Dominick Oppedisano, founder of H2O Irrigation Solutions.
Why did you start your business?
We got into irrigation because we had plumbers in the family but did not want to follow in the trade. With our extensive knowledge gained from having a family full of plumbers, we are able to run a first-class irrigation company.
We wanted to be able to offer our community an irrigation company that offers the same high-end service as the large corporate companies, but with a hometown, family feels, and A+ customer service. Because that's what we are, your neighborhood, family-owned and operated, irrigation company.
What is your best-selling product/service?
Our best-selling product is the Rachio wireless clock. It allows the homeowner to work their system remotely, even if they are away on vacation. It allows them to give anyone they want access to their system, making house/pet sitting a breeze. It even has a rain sensor so the homeowner is not wasting water when mother nature has provided sufficient amounts of water.
We have reimagined our small business! We are now introducing landscape lighting! Our customers can customize beautiful lighting around their gardens and outdoor structures. It makes for fun and elegant entertainment and provides another level of security for the home as well.
