Art Exhibit by Matthew Hoffman: You are Beautiful Experience at SoNo Collection

Art Exhibit by Matthew Hoffman Sets the Stage for A One-of-a-kind Experience Promoting Self-acceptance and Inviting Shoppers to Reflect On Their Inner and Outer Beauty.

The SoNo Collection will be one of just eight stops for the traveling exhibit as it tours Brookfield Properties shopping centers throughout the U.S. The one-of-a-kind experience is not only FREE and family-friendly, but promotes the importance of body positivity, self-acceptance, and self-care.

Three words. One message. Starting out by placing 100 stickers around town with the positive affirmation, “you are beautiful”, Chicago-based artist Matthew Hoffman’s inspiring idea has evolved into a worldwide phenomenon since its beginnings in 2002. You are Beautiful allows shoppers to not only view Hoffman’s art, but experience it through interactive elements, including:

• A 12-foot Affirmation Wall on which visitors can attach hand-written notes with positive affirmations. The goal is to fill the wall with inspiring notes from across the U.S. locations the You Are Beautiful exhibition stops.

• A 13.5-foot by 10-foot Self-Reflection Mirror, which gives visitors a chance to reflect upon and celebrate their inner and outer beauty.

• Moments of Motivation Seats complete with “You are Beautiful” affirmation allow visitors to sit down and find their inner confidence.

The kickoff event, Saturday, October 29, 11 AM – 3 PM, will coincide with The SoNo Collection’s popular “Trick-or-Chic" festivities which includes DJ spun 70’s tunes, costumed characters, treats for the kids, selfie moments galore, and lots of family fun.

The very special You Are Beautiful experience is available to mall visitors during mall hours from October 29-November 17.
