Norwalk Parking Authority unveils new innovative bike parking at the South Norwalk and East Norwalk rail stations

We share the excitement of the Norwalk Parking Authority in the unveiling of their new innovative bike parking at the South Norwalk and East Norwalk rail stations, as well as their rebranding announcement to Park Norwalk.

The rebranding is more than simply a new name. It's a recommitment to improving services and offerings, like the brand new bike parking facility in the SoNo Train Station Garage and the artistic bike rack in the shape of a train at the East Norwalk Train Station.

This new bike infrastructure pairs nicely with the recent grant that our Department of Transportation, Mobility, and Parking was awarded by the State of Connecticut, which will double our bike lanes.

We hope this new infrastructure will encourage more folks to ride to and from the train stations. This is part of the City's goal to advance Norwalk's transit connectivity by enhancing our dedicated bike lane network! The images attached include the new bike racks at the first level of the South Norwalk train station garage on the westbound side and the artistic bike rack in the shape of a train at the East Norwalk Train Station.
