Two Major Projects in Norwalk Approved for Funding

The City of Norwalk thanks Senator Bob Duff, Senate Majority Leader, the Office of Governor Ned Lamont who approved funding for two major projects in Norwalk ahead of this Thursday's State Bond Commission meeting. The City announced the good news on their Facebook Page.

According to the City, the first includes funding to upgrade the intersection of Wall Street at West Avenue/Belden Avenue and Mott Avenue, which has been a top priority for Mayor Rilling and the Transportation, Mobility, and Parking team and will bring significant economic development benefits for small businesses and residents along the corridor.

The second is for much-needed repairs to the City's cherished historical building: the Lockwood-Mathews Mansion Museum.
