Author Hannah Tinti Conducts Reading at Manhattanville College November 2 at 7 PM - FREE and Open to Public

At the M'ville event, Tinti, who is the founding editor of One Story press, will read from her new novel, The Twelve Lives of Samuel Hawley. Tinti's short story collection Animal Crackers, was a runner-up for the PEN/Hemingway award. Her first novel, The Good Thief, was a New York Times Notable Book of the Year, recipient of the American Library Association's Alex Award, winner of The Center for Fiction's First Novel Prize, and winner of the Quality Paperback Book Club's New Voices Award. Tinti is also a teacher and editor, and in 2011, became the literary commentator for NPR's Selected Shorts program.

As part of Manhattanville College's MFA Writing Program Meet The Writers Series, acclaimed writer Hannah Tinti, considered one of the most influential writers of her generation and most influential people in Brooklyn culture, will also sign her most recent book, available for purchase at the event.
