On October 28th 2016, Furniture Sharehouse will celebrate its 10th year of furnishing families with the Power of 10 gala at the Mamaroneck Beach & Yacht Club from 6:30-9pm. The gala will feature Furniture Sharehouse’s signature designer vignettes (including an entire suite of new living room furniture donated by W. L. Landau - Ethan Allen), an accessory boutique, and a silent auction. Guests will enjoy an open bar, a sumptuous buffet dinner, and dessert. Bruce Figler from 107.1 the Peak will emcee the event.
The goal of the event is to raise funds to provide free furniture to local Westchester families in need. Furniture Sharehouse is Westchester County’s Furniture Bank accepting donations of gently-used furniture for re-distribution to local families in need. Since 2007, Furniture Sharehouse has distributed over 57,000 items worth over $3.4 million to more than 10,000 individuals in need from their warehouse located at Westchester County Airport.
