
On Saturday, May 9th, University of the Cumberlands (UC) conferred 815 degrees during their annual commencement ceremony; 227 Bachelor's degrees, 540 Master's degrees, and 18 Doctorate degrees. Also, the degrees conferred included three Associates degrees and 27 Education Specialists. Dr. Billy Kim, Chairman of the Far East Broadcasting Company in Korea, gave the commencement speech.
Michael Russell of Pleasantville graduated from UC and earned a/an MAT degree in Social Studies.
During the 2014-15 academic year, the University conferred a total of 1,376 degrees making it the most successful year in Cumberlands' illustrious history.
