A. RECOMMENDATION OF THE COMMITTEE ON PRE-SCHOOL SPECIAL EDUCATION
BE IT RESOLVED, that, upon the recommendation of the Superintendent of Schools and the Committee on Pre-School Special Education, the Board of Education reviews the following classification and arranges for the following placement and/or services for case numbered: 0216.
B. RECOMMENDATION OF THE COMMITTEE ON SPECIAL EDUCATION
BE IT RESOLVED, that, upon the recommendation of the Superintendent of Schools and the Committee on Special Education, the Board of Education reviews the following classifications and arranges for the following placements and/or services for cases numbered: 221415, 291213, 120910, 221011, 211314.
C. APPROVAL OF PROFESSIONAL SERVICES
1. RESOLVED, that the Board of Education approves the appointment of Smart Moving & Storage, Inc. for professional services, to provide transportation of voting machines for the May 16, 2017 Annual Board Election & Budget Vote, at a maximum of $1,000.
2. RESOLVED, that the Board of Education approves the appointment of Greenburgh-North Castle UFSD, for professional services, to provide a Special Education program for the 2016-17 school year, at a maximum of $42,278.49.
D. ACCEPTANCE OF NON-RESIDENT STUDENT
RESOLVED, that the Board of Education accepts non-resident student #19979, from Somers Central School District, for the 2016-17 school year and authorizes the Superintendent of Schools to sign a contract delineating CSE services for this Special Education student.
E. ADOPTION OF 2017-18 NON-INSTRUCTIONAL CALENDAR
RESOLVED, that the Board of Education hereby adopts the 2017-18 Non-Instructional Calendar; a copy of which shall be incorporated by reference within the minutes of this meeting.
F. ADOPTION OF ANNUAL MEETING NOTICE
RESOLVED, that the Board of Education hereby adopts the Annual Meeting Notice for the May 16, 2017 Annual Meeting, as attached.
VIII. BUSINESS AFFAIRS:
A. ACCEPTANCE OF TREASURER’S REPORT
BE IT RESOLVED, that, upon the recommendation of the Assistant Superintendent for Business, the Board of Education accepts the December 2016 Treasurer’s Report. Additional reports submitted for informational purposes only.
B. APPROVAL OF HEALTH CONTRACT
RESOLVED, that upon the recommendation of the Assistant Superintendent for Business, the Board of Education approves the following Health Services Contracts for the 2016-17 school year:

Somers Central School District – 5 students at $1,079.49 per pupil; total cost $5,397.45
-
Mamaroneck Union Free School District – 2 students at $1,011.86 per pupil; total cost $2,023.72
C. APPROVAL OF LATE TRANSPORTATION REQUEST
RESOLVED, that, upon the recommendation of the Assistant Superintendent for Business, the Board of Education approves the following late transportation request, at no additional cost, for the 2016-17 school year:
One (1) student attending Soundview Preparatory – Yorktown Heights, NY D. ACCEPTANCE OF DONATION
RESOLVED, that the Board of Education accepts a donation of $250 from Mr. & Mrs. Hipwood, for Bedford Road School.
