FOCUS Festival for Autism set for June 6

CANTON – Come enjoy some good, old-fashioned fun at the Annual FOCUS Festival for Autism. Festival admission is free and the event is open to the public and will be held rain or shine on Saturday, June 6, from noon until 4 p.m. at Mills Pond Park, 14 East Hill Road in Canton.

Everyone is invited to the celebration! This year marks Focus Center for Autism’s 15th year of changing lives.  Come and enjoy great music provided by the radio station, 102.9, the Whale. Meet our special guests Anna and Elsa from “Frozen” and Tinkerbell.

This year’s festival includes fun for all ages: games, delicious food, pony rides, a petting zoo, giant inflatables, face painting, a dunk tank, a teacup raffle and a silent auction. Prizes include exciting gift baskets, gift certificates to area restaurants and businesses, and a Florida vacation package worth $3,000 (which includes: a $1,000 VISA gift card, two Southwest Airlines tickets, eight tickets to SeaWorld and four tickets to Disney World)!

The presenting sponsor for this year’s festival is GoodWorks Insurance of Glastonbury, New Milford and Columbia. GoodWorks Insurance donates at least 50 percent of its operating profit to nonprofits that support education, healthcare and public-safety programs.
