Ancona's Wines & Liquors finally has some company. CVS Pharmacy opened its door last Sunday. "It's been slow...people are starting to realize we're open," said one of the store supervisors. "We can't put out balloons or anything so it's mainly been word of mouth," she adds.
CVS replaces Ancona's Market which closed in early 2014 after 93 years. It is the second CVS in Ridgefield.
The new Ridgefield CVS is located at 720 Branchville Road, next to Ancona's Wines & Liquors.
