Danbury Whalers Honor First Responders During Home Game on Saturday Night

The Danbury Whalers are home on Saturday, January 17th against the Danville Dashers and on Sunday, January 18th against the Watertown Wolves. Game-time on Saturday is 7:35 pm and Sunday is 5 pm.

This weekend will be especially crucial as the Whalers are battling both Watertown & Dayton to hold onto the top spot.   Danville's last trip to Danbury resulted in a weekend split of games.  Watertown's last game in Danbury, they lost 6-0.

Saturday's promotion is First Responder's Night.  In recognition and thanks for their service to the community, on this night First Responders will receive a complimentary ticket.

There is zero cost to the First Responders and they can take advantage of this offer by registering with an email to the Whalers front office at hsorcher@thedanburywhalers.com

If you are interested in participating in this event send an email to secure your spot right away.

Sunday is also a Skate with the Whalers.  After the game, join the Whalers players on the ice and skate with the team.  Always a fun event.

This weekend will also feature four groups on the Whalers fundraising program.

Saturday

  • St. Gregory the Great
  • South Street School in Danbury
  • Danbury High School Leo Club
  • Boy Scout Troop 58

Sunday

  • New Milford First Congregational Church.
