The Redding Democratic Town Committee is welcoming guests to their annual Century Club party and fundraiser set for Sunday, September 18, from 4-7pm. The event will be held at the home of Andrew and Mary Ann Carman, 164 Umpawaug Road. The venue provides ample parking.
Old World Pizza Truck is back by popular demand to serve gourmet, wood-fired pizza, and other Italian treats, made fresh on site. Beer, wine and nonalcoholic drinks will be served, and Garner Lester and his band Catfish will perform.
“We look forward to celebrating last year’s victories, to supporting our candidates in this year’s important State and Federal elections, and to preparing for next year’s municipal races,” said Mark Lewis, Redding DTC Chair.
“Senator Richard Blumental and Representative Jim Himes have been outstanding voices for Connecticut and the Nation in Washington and deserve re-election in November. Raghib Allie-Brennan for State Representative and Sharon Wicks Dornfeld for Judge of Probate are our State level candidates. They face strong opposition, but with the work and support of Redding Democrats, they will win.”
