Redding Holiday Tree Lighting Saturday, December 2 with JBHS Chamber Singers, Sweet Treats, Rudolph, Frosty and More!

This year Redding Park and Recreation is partnering with the Boy Scout Troop 306 and Redding Lions Club for a special day of fun on the Redding Green. The Holiday Tree Lighting begins at 3:30 pm.

The JBHS Chamber Singers directed by Gwen Wittmann will lead us into the actual tree lighting starting at about 4:30pm.

JRMS will also be providing a band ensemble directed by Kevin Duffy. Following up after the band ensemble, Mr. Ebert will be directing the John Read Chamber Choir as they sing a series of holiday and seasonal pieces. Hot Chocolate will be served courtesy of the Lions Club.

Troop 306 has a host of great events planned throughout the afternoon starting at 3:30pm which include:

● Fire pit warming stations

● S’mores for sale and roasting

● Scout Crafts (I.e. knot tying, lashings etc.)

● Scout games (i.e. 2 person skies, etc.)

● Selfies with Santa- photo opportunity with Santa for a donation

● Baked goods sales- decorated cookies pre-packaged

Come to the Redding Green dressed for this outdoor event.

Rudolph and Frosty will be there too!
