Get in the holiday spirit by helping with Housatonic Habitat's annual "Wrapping at the Mall" fundraiser.
The event runs December 2 through 24 at the Danbury Fair Mall, and volunteers are needed to man the shifts and make the magic happen.
"It's one of our biggest fundraisers of the year," says Diana Arfine of Housatonic Habitat. "Last year Habitat raised more than $10,000 by wrapping gifts, and we're aiming even higher this season! It's a fun thing to do with family, friends and coworkers."
Shoppers donate $5 per package, and the volunteer elves do the work. Proceeds benefit Housatonic Habitat's mission to provide safe and affordable housing in our community.
