Gallery Owner Dee Dee Colabella shares her enthusiasm:

"I’m so excited to share the artwork with you in this one. The viewers will really have a special experience here, and a lot of the artwork is actually interactive!”

About the Artists

Matthew Franz

Born and raised in Philadelphia during the vibrant 1980s, Matthew Franz draws inspiration from the vivid palettes, bold forms, and dynamic strokes of the graffiti culture of that era. Now based in Ridgefield, CT, he has found a nurturing artistic community to further his creative journey.

His geometric abstraction combines vivid colors, assertive lines, and angular forms to convey luminous, energetic narratives. His work reflects an innate commitment to independence and a deep passion for fostering connection through art.

Matthew is an active member of the RPAC Art Center in Ridgefield, with his works featured at venues such as the Ridgefield Playhouse, Arbor Gallery, and D. Colabella Fine Art Gallery. His 2024 commissions for the Artful Gives Kicks Public Art Event in Ridgefield highlight his innovative approach to sculpture.Gabriella Anouk

A British-Dutch contemporary artist specializing in hyperrealism, Gabriella Anouk creates stunningly detailed works using colored pencils. Her unique style blends fine art, photorealism, surrealism, and pop art, often featuring synthetic textures like slime and plastic to distort familiar objects, such as fruit, in playful and thought-provoking ways.

Inspired by surrealists like Dalí, Gabriella explains:

“The juxtaposition of a beautiful, natural piece of fruit against synthetic, almost vulgar, shiny slime is so attractive and interesting to me.”

With an international collector base spanning the UK, Europe, the USA, Hong Kong, and the Middle East, Gabriella has also garnered over 500,000 social media followers, sharing her creative process and inspiring new audiences to explore art.
