Get Ready for the 2024 CT United Ride on Sunday: A Tribute to Heroes

On Sunday, September 8th, 2024, join us for the 23rd Annual CT United Ride, Connecticut’s largest 9/11 tribute event. This poignant motorcycle ride honors first responders and their families affected by the events of September 11, 2001, with a special tribute to Connecticut’s heroes who have fallen in the line of duty.

The ride will cover 60 miles through Fairfield County, beginning on Westport Road (Rt. 33) at the Westport Town Line. From there, the motorcade will travel toward Danbury Road (Rt. 7), where northbound traffic will be temporarily closed to accommodate the procession. The motorcade, led by the Connecticut State Police, will then continue through Georgetown.

Expect a remarkable turnout with 1,000 to 1,500 motorcycles participating in this annual event. It’s a great opportunity for community members to come out, watch, and show their support.

Sponsored by the UPFFA of CT, this event features over 3,000 motorcycles and involves more than 25 fire departments and 25 police departments across 10 Fairfield County towns.
