Meadow Ridge Recognized for Best Senior Living by U.S. News & World Report

Meadow Ridge has once again been named one of the best senior living communities in the country in U.S. News & World Report’s 2024 Best Senior Living issue. Meadow Ridge was designated “Best” for independent living and assisted living. It was also recognized for its memory care neighborhood.

U.S. News & World Report analyzed surveys from 233 Meadow Ridge residents and their family members. The “Best” distinction recognizes the community’s commitment to excellence in safety, value, activities & enrichment, staff & hospitality, and other attributes. Survey respondents commented, “There is a wonderful, positive spirit about this place which comes from the warmth and friendliness of both the residents and staff,” and, “Meadow Ridge feels like a complete community. I have made wonderful, caring friends and find the staff bends over backward to keep us safe and happy.”

“Meadow Ridge is a lively, engaging community where residents are truly living their best lives,” said Executive Director Chris Barstein. “We’re humbled to be recognized as a Best Senior Living community as a testament to the care and services that our associates take pride and pleasure in providing, every day.”

As a CCRC, Meadow Ridge offers a distinctive lifestyle and a full continuum of care, including independent living, assisted living, memory care, and skilled nursing and rehabilitation. Its well-appointed apartment homes, gourmet cuisine, impeccable service and exquisite amenities are delivered in a picturesque country setting with convenient access to the area’s rich cultural activities.

The 2024 U.S. News & World Report Best Senior Living issue represents feedback on thousands of senior living communities across the country. Meadow Ridge, a Benchmark Senior Living CCRC, has repeatedly been recognized for a variety of categories and its health center, Ridge Crest, was awarded last fall for excellence in short-term rehabilitation and long-term care. Forty-four Benchmark communities throughout the Northeast received an award this year, far outpacing the industry average for achieving “Best” status.
