Rooster Film Festival Friday at Newtown Town Hall

The Newtown Cultural Arts Commission, as part of the Newtown Arts festival, presents its inaugural Rooster Film festival Friday, October 27th at Newtown Town Hall 7 pm with a series of independent production and classic films in conjunction with the Someday Cinema Series on Sunday, October 29th.

Films by local artists include two shorts by Connecticut native Neil Hapke as well as shorts by Barbara Distini and David Distini of Trumbull.

Admission is $3 for the entire Film festival and each of the Someday Cinema Screenings on Sunday, October 29.

The Someday Cinema movies are Alfr4ed Hitchcock’s vertigo at 1 and 7 pm and Mel Brooks’ High Anxiety at 4 pm.
