Mutt Strut on the Norwalk River Valley Trail on May 5

You are invited to participate in Mutt Strut on the Norwalk River Valley Trail on Saturday, May 5, 2018 (Rain date, May 12)

Please take note of the following starting locations:

  • Norwalk: Lockwood Mathews rear parking lot
  • Wilton: Commuter parking lot at Wolfpit Rd & Rt. 7
  • Ridgefield & Redding: Parking area at Simpaug Turnpike & Rt. 

This fun event for all ages will feature dog bandanas, dog goody bags, and a dog selfie station! Oh, and lots of prizes!

  • Dog with the most creative costume: Wins a free Mobile Spa grooming for your dog from The Canine Company!
  • Top fundraisers in Norwalk, Wilton, Ridgefield and Redding:  Each wins a Cannondale Bike!

Get your dogs out on the trail to raise money for the NRVT and a day of fresh air and fun! "We are urging our community to come together to build more of the NRVT, creating further opportunities to hike, bike, and dog walk in a healthy, beautiful, peaceful environment," says Charlie Taney, Executive Director, Norwalk River Valley Trail.

All dogs must be on a leash

Teams, families and individuals will strut their mutts from 10:00 AM—2:00 PM.

The Norwalk River Valley Trail (NRVT) will be a 35-mile multi-use trail that will run from Norwalk to Danbury. In Norwalk and Wilton segments of the NRVT are complete.
