Ancona's Wines Announces Lear Wine Pairings from A Master SOMM!

Taub Family Wines Tasting at The Annex November 14 from 6:45 P.M. -- 8:00 P.M.

You are invited to join the Ancona's Wine team on Wednesday, November 14th as they present: "A Master Class In Wine Pairing”  with Master Sommelier, Brian Cronin of Taub Family Selections.

You might be asking yourself “What is a Master Sommelier?” Mitch Ancona, owner of Ancona's Wines & Liquors explains, "The Master Sommelier (MS) diploma is the highest distinctions a professional can attain in fine wine and beverage service. In order to be able to call yourself a Master Sommelier, candidates must pass an exam that requires years of preparation and, more often than not, multiple attempts. It’s offered once a year by the Court of Master Sommeliers."

According to Ancona, presently, there are only 229 men and women in North America who can amend the highly-coveted “MS” to the end of their title,  and on Thursday, November 14th, Ancona’s will be welcoming one of them to The Annex.

Enter Master Sommelier Brian. "He passed his exam in 2005, is the Brand Ambassador for Taub Family Selections – a portfolio of benchmark varietal expressions from all around the world. Brian will be joining us at The Annex where he will taking us through a flight of 6 different Italian wines from the Taub Family portfolio," says Ancona.
