Children's Country Fair
For the past two decades on a Saturday in early spring, all of Redding has rallied on behalf of their Mark Twain Library for a uniquely colorful event: The Frog Frolic — A Children's Country Fair. This year, the 24th Annual Frog Frolic will be held on Saturday, April 27th, rain or shine.
Named as a nod to our illustrious founder, Mark Twain, and his short story, The Celebrated Frog of Calaveras County, the Frog Frolic has become Redding's highly anticipated kick-off to spring. Last year, 1,100 people of all ages attended — coming from right down the road and from miles away —to delight in the games, crafts, entertainment and food.
