Rid Litter Day in Redding on April 27

Help Build Mt. Trashmore on our "Earth Day/Rid Litter Day" on Redding's Town Green, Saturday, April 27, 2019 from 9 am-3 pm!

What is Earth Day/Rid Litter Day/Mt. Trashmore in Redding? It's a call to action. Citizens, in small groups, pick up roadside trash that has accumulated over the winter months.

This is Redding's way of celebrating the nationally recognized Earth Day (April 22nd) and to act "locally". Redding loves being "Green & Clean" and what's more universal than cleaning the spaces we see along our daily journey: our roads!

Volunteers collect and bag roadside trash and return it to the Town Green to help BUILD a MT. TRASHMORE.
It is then brought back to our Transfer Station and weighed.

This is totally doable...come before or after the Mark Twain Library's Frog Frolic or after visiting the Redding Transfer Station for Shred Day.

Of all the days of service, you can do some good with, THIS iS IT!!
