Now in their 17th year, The Quintessentials continue to delight audiences with their close-harmony arrangements of American popular standards. Representing the diverse performing arts population of Manhattanville College, this year's Quintessentials come from as far away as Portugal and as close as Bethel and New Fairfield, Connecticut, along with natives of Florida, Hawaii, Puerto Rico, New York, New Jersey, and Massachusetts. The concert features tunes by Harold Arlen, Frank Loesser, Thomas "Fats" Waller, Lennon & McCartney, Henry Mancini, and Leonard Bernstein.
Our graduating Seniors will also be featured performing solos from their Capstone Senior Recitals. Directed by Mark Cherry and Beverly Meyer, this energetic co-ed ensemble sings in up to eight parts, with some snaps and steps thrown in to round out the show. A Mother's Day treat for your eyes and ears, you're sure to leave the show with a smile. Tickets for this event are $15 per person, $25 per couple/family - 2 or more and $10 for students/seniors.
