“It’s Not Your Homework: A Workshop for Parents” at Mark Twain Library on Thursday, October 24 at 7:30 pm
Help your child get organized and get things done. Join us for a parent workshop that focuses on executive functioning where Stacy O’Neill, respected Executive Function specialist, will teach simple strategies for reducing stress around academics and homework for children of all ages. Workshop will include:
• How to create organizational strategies that work for your child and family
• How to help your child get started when they feel “stuck”
• Self-monitoring strategies to help your child take ownership of their school work
• How to be supportive and involved without taking over
