The Redding Highway Department will be picking up Christmas trees on a house by house basis beginning the week of January 4, 2021 and continuing through the week of January 11, 2021.
Residents must call and schedule a pick up at 203-938-2801.
Trees must be placed at the curb. Please remove all lights, tinsel and ornaments – trees in plastic bags will not be accepted.
Collections may be delayed due to inclement weather. If significant snow accumulation occurs trees must be placed on top of the snow. The Highway Department will not dig out trees.
Trees are also accepted at the Recycling Center free of charge during normal business hours.
The trees will be chipped and the chips will be available at the Recycling Center free of charge to residents.
