Mark Twain Library: College Admissions 101 on Saturday

College Admissions 101 on Saturday, March 20th at 10:30AM with Matt Musico

(Teens & Adults)

All registered participants will receive a Zoom link the day before the event. If you include your cell phone number, you will also receive a text message reminder with the Zoom link 30 minutes before the program begins. We will not use your cell phone number for any purpose other than sending you a program reminder.

Presented by college counselor Matt Musico of Collegewise, this seminar will help families separate college admissions fact from fiction and enjoy the college process a little more. We’ll discuss grades, test scores, activities, and everything else colleges evaluate. Attendees will get straight answers about what college admissions committees really look for and how they ultimately decide who gets in. We think kids and parents will be pleasantly surprised to learn that kids don’t have to be trilingual, opera-singing rocket scientists to get into college today.

This program will benefit rising sophomores and juniors who are just beginning their college exploration journey and wanting to get details on what’s important (and what’s not) in this process.

Program contact: Sarah Zimmermann (sarah@marktwainlibrary.org), Teen Librarian

Please note that registration will close 30 minutes before the program begins.
