Hello, It’s Todd Rundgren for two nights at The Ridgefield Playhouse on October 4th and 5th

From collaborating on Kanye West’s “Donda” album to being a 2021 Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductee to collaborating with Joe Satriani, Trent Reznor, Donald Fagen and Joe Walsh on his forthcoming album “Space Force” – Todd Rundgren remains one of the most prolific musicians of our time!  Now, he’s back on the road with a brand new tour that is so big it takes 2 nights!

Todd Rundgren, makes his only Connecticut tour stop at The Ridgefield Playhouse on Monday, October 4th at 8pm and Tuesday, October 5th at 8pm with his The Individualist, A True Star Tour celebrating his 1973 album A Wizard, A True Star. In the show, part of the Pepsi Rock Series Driven by North American Motor Car, Rundgren performs a full side of the album each night, plus a set of other career-spanning hits.  Throughout his decades-long career, Rundgren has followed his own creative instincts, his music ranging from blues-rock, power-pop, prog-rock, and electronic has thrust him into the spotlight with hits “I Saw the Light,” “Hello It’s Me,” “Can We Still Be Friends?” and “We Gotta Get You A Woman” just to name a few.  Todd Rundgren is a featured artist of media sponsor i95fm – Danbury’s Home of Rock and Roll.

Rock Hall president Greg Harris calls him “a rock and roll Renaissance man.” Throughout the 1970s and 1980s, Rundgren was a music-making powerhouse, releasing 12 solo albums of his own and 9 albums with his progressive rock band Utopia, while also producing ground-breaking albums for the Patti Smith Group (Wave), Meat Loaf (Bat Out of Hell), Grand Funk Railroad (We’re an American Band), and the New York Dolls (New York Dolls). In addition to his exceptionally prolific music portfolio, in the 90’s Rundgren also stepped up to become a pioneer in music video, computer software, and Internet music delivery as well. His forthcoming album Space Force will feature collaborations with Rivers Cuomo of Weezer, art-pop heroes Sparks, and Iraqi-Canadian rapper Narcy.
