Holiday Tree Lighting Saturday, December 4 Starting at 2:00pm
This year Redding Park and Recreation is partnering with the Scout Troop 306 and Redding Lions Club for a special day of fun on the Redding Green.
The JBHS Select Choir will lead us into the actual tree lighting starting at about 4:30pm. JRMS will also be providing both singers and a brass ensemble for your enjoyment.
Hot Chocolate will be served courtesy of the Lions Club.
Troop 306 has a host of great events planned throughout the afternoon starting at 2:00pm which includes some live music and sing-a-longs, scouting skill demonstrations, crafts, smores, photos with Santa, holiday craft items for sale and a silent auction. There will be a fee for the photo with Santa, a holiday craft activity and smores. It’s just $10 per child ($30 max per family).
