Redding's Tree Lighting Postponed! New Date is Saturday, December 10!

Redding's Holiday Tree Lighting postponed due to the weather. It will be next Saturday, December 10 starting at 3:30 pm.


 

The tree lighting events start at 3:30pm with the JRMS Select Choir lead by Dave Ebert and end with the  Barlow Chamber Singers performing as the tree is lighted at about 4:45pm. Gwynne Wittmann leads the JBHS Chamber Singers. Boy Scout Troop 306 is partnering with us to offer some Scout-related activities such as fire building, and selling smore packets to prepare over a small fire. They are also doing photo’s with Santa. The Lions Club will be preparing hot chocolate for all and expect visits from Frosty and Rudolph who will pose for photos and pass out candy canes with the kids. The tree will be lighted at about 4:45. Lights were strung for the town courtesy of Andy Knapp of Knapp Tree.

 

Parking is in the normal Concert on the Green manner. Parking alongside the Green and on the right side as you are heading north to RES, in the town hall parking lots and the church. Please dress for the weather as town hall is only open for the bathrooms.
