Chasing Childhood: A Documentary & Community Discussion at Mark Twain Library

Chasing Childhood: A Documentary & Community Discussion (In Person) on Sunday, February 5 from 2:00 pm - 4:00 pm

This compelling documentary focuses on the unintended consequences of over-parenting and how kids can benefit from a new “Let Grow” initiative.

Parents can explore how to — responsibly — let go a bit, so their kids can gain new maturity and confidence.

This movie, for both parents and kids, centers around the lives of three families, each from a different environment: Wilton, CT, New York City and Long Island.

Parents are encouraged to watch the film either at home or during a special screening & discussion at the Mark Twain Library.

Co-Sponsored by Redding Elementary PTA & Mark Twain Library. Watch the film, join the community discussion and learn ways to safely encourage independence in kids!
