Here’s a brief list of what’s happening….more to come!!

ROADSIDE TRASH COLLECTION/BUILD MT. TRASHMORE: Redding will celebrate this anniversary in our usual way …on the Town Green. We will do the annual collection of roadside trash and build Mount Trashmore. As done in the past, collectors will pick up their vests, gloves, bags and road assignment from 9 am to 1 pm and after, receive a popsicle or fudgesicle for their participation. We will complete this task by 2:45 for the photo op (in front of Mt. Trashmore) and then dismantle the mount into the dumpster nearby. Details coming soon!

SOMETHING NEW!!! TOWN-WIDE INVITE TO PARTICIPATE IN AN ART INSTALLATION There will be an art installation on the Town Green that we are calling: “Pollinator Pathway”. “It will encompass as many origami flowers and pollinators as we can make and string them together in a series of curtains. We invite every citizen of Redding to participate. Details of where to pick up paper,  instructions and drop off to follow. Details coming soon!

GROUP REPRESENTATION ON THE GREEN: Do you want to set up a table and share your group’s “green” or “environmental” initiatives?
