My tasting notes: This is a blend of 85% Valdiguié, 14% Zinfandel, 1% Trousseau and with alcohol at 11% it sure makes it way too easy to drink. Watermelon, strawberry, green apple, jolly rancher (yes!)- just what I want in a mid-summer Rosé. Syrupy, medium body balanced with a nice acidity. Totally juicy- drinks like raspberry lemonade, tart, clean and refreshing. Pair with appetizers and snacks (how about some truffle fries.. yum!), shellfish, grilled pork in-bone steaks, and fruity desserts- my choice? A delicious berry pannacotta.
