My tasting notes: Full bodied wine. Aromas of rich, dark berries and stone fruits with hints of herbs and spice. The flavor profile delivers full dark fruit, with depth and intensity, all balanced by medium, ripe tannins and acidity and a brightness on the finish. Pair with grilled meats, lamb, game, mushrooms and cream or butter based pasta dishes (makes me crave a rich spinach-ricotta ravioli with sage infused butter sauce and prosciutto) Undoubtedly, the perfect food wine.
