My tasting notes:  What a delight! A symphony of juicy black fruit here- black currant, blackberries, plum. Medium-bodied.  Palate is plush, smooth, velvety with spicy notes of pepper.  Some earthiness- mushrooms, herbs. Tannins are present, but not overpowering. Fresh acidity. Great to pair with roasted meats, spicy Mexican food or like I did yesterday- spicy cumin lamb with garlic, onions and eggplant. Soulful.
