Stephen Robinson, 58, of Redding, Connecticut, passed away at his home on Sunday, March 4, 2018.

Born in Leeds, England to Tessa and Stuart Robinson, Steve sang in the choir and played cricket and rugby. After graduating from the University of Portsmouth with a degree in hotel and restaurant management, he lived an exciting life, working in Africa, the Island of Tortola, New York and eventually in Connecticut where he finally settled. Stephen successfully managed quality food services, hotels, and restaurants for Yum! Brands, Sodexho, FLIK, the Museum of Modern Art, and the Food & Beverage Association.
 
Stephen was a passionate man who enjoyed family, friends, fine food, cooking, travel, gardening and jazz. Stephen was extremely loving and proud of his son Michael A. Robinson and daughter-in-law Kristina Robinson of Ridgefield who survived him, along with former wife Debra-Ann (Duggan) Robinson and stepmother Jean Robinson. Stephen was predeceased by his brother Nicholas, mother Tessa (White) and father Stuart Robinson of Harrogate England.
 
Stephen will be sorely missed by family and friends. A memorial mass to celebrate Stephen’s life will be held at 10 AM, on Saturday, March 17, 2018 at St. Mary’s Church, 55 Catoonah Street, in Ridgefield Connecticut.
